AI text checker

Inspect experimental text-classifier scores.

AI writing signals

Experimental

Check English writing for patterns associated with generated text. The result is an estimate, not proof of who wrote it.

0 words0 characters

AI-text detectors can misclassify formal, edited, translated, non-native, and short writing. They cannot prove that a person or AI wrote a passage.

About AI text checker

This tool runs a supported text classifier and displays its scores. It is an experiment for inspecting model behavior, not a reliable way to identify the author of a document.

Steps, and limitations

How to use it

  1. Read the limitations and initialize the model.
  2. Enter the text to examine.
  3. Inspect the scores alongside the warnings about false positives and false negatives.

Things to know

  • A classifier score is not proof of AI authorship. Edited, short, or unusual text can be misclassified.
  • Do not use this output as evidence for academic, employment, or disciplinary decisions.
