About Subtitle converter

Convert supported SubRip or WebVTT cue files and edit their timings and text. Shift every cue by a fixed amount while reviewing the list before downloading a new subtitle file.

Steps, and limitations

How to use it

  1. Paste subtitles or open an SRT or VTT file.
  2. Choose an output format, edit cues and optionally shift their timestamps.
  3. Review validation errors and download the converted file.

Things to know

  • The converter supports ordinary timed text cues, not WebVTT STYLE, REGION, NOTE blocks or positioning settings; unsupported input is rejected rather than silently discarded.
  • Timing shifts cannot move a cue before zero. Rich text is kept as literal cue text in the editor and is never executed as HTML.
