About Trim video

Select the part of a recording you actually need. Drag the two timeline handles to define a clip, fine-tune the timestamps, and preview the selection before making a new video.

How to use it

  1. Open a browser-playable video and wait for the preview and timeline.
  2. Drag the start and end handles, or set a boundary at the current playhead.
  3. Preview the selected range, choose MP4 or WebM, and export the trimmed clip.

Things to know

  • Preview support depends on your browser and the codecs inside the source file. A file extension alone does not guarantee compatibility.
  • Keep the original file. Exporting a video may re-encode it, changing its size and introducing compression artifacts.
